UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

The UMW will hold their Christmas party and luncheon on Wednesday, December 3 at 12:00 noon at the Montour Heights Country Club.  More details will follow.

 

 

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY SUPPORT GROUP will meet on Tuesdays at the church.  All women are welcome.  Upcoming dates are November 11 and 25.  We are about growing in faith through Bible Study, finding support, reaching out and serving others as well as fellowship and fun.

 

 

 

THE THIRD THURSDAY BOOK CLUB

The Third Thursday Book Club has begun meeting again.  Come and join with us this coming year, as we begin our fifth year of the Third Thursday Book Club.  We are a group of voracious readers who enjoy getting together to discuss many different kinds of books.  We meet at 7:00 PM every third Thursday (when possible) from September through May, with the exception of December.  We have chosen the books for the upcoming year so that we can start some during the summer when we are looking for more books to read.  Some of our past books included The Da Vinci Code, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, The Women of Troy Hill, Abraham, The Buffalo Soldier, The Secret Life of Bees and many others.  If you are looking for good suggestions, ask any of us.  We are always coming away after book club with a list of other books to read.
